It is natural for people to obey God, but the Creator became flesh.
He is our role model, and we should follow his example and take him as the way to heaven.

​Being in the form of God, he did not think it robbery to be equal with God;
But emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men;
And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
