The Lord is my rest The Lord is my rest
I will enter his rest by faith
The wind and waves cannot affect us, nor can the enemies disturb us.
My heart is at peace in him
The Most High God is my dwelling place
My heart can rest in him.
Hebrews 4:11 Let us make every effort, therefore, to enter that rest, so that no one may fall after the same example of disobedience.
Hebrews 4:9 There remains therefore a Sabbath-rest for the people of God.
Hebrews 3:19 You see then that they were unable to enter because of unbelief.
Matthew 12:8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath.
Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
9. The Lord is my refuge; you have made the Most High your dwelling place,
10. No disaster will befall you, nor any plague come near your tent.
"Christian Life" / Xuan Xin
One of the main characteristics of this Christian life in us is tranquility. The turmoil and disturbance in our nature will be calmed by this life. We become aware of an inner calm—or the calm of Christ—which brings us peace and tranquility.
