inner life/ Mrs Guyon
Let us commit ourselves to living an inner life, and do all we can to interest our brothers and sisters in it, and then we will see "the ground be replaced with newness," and Jesus Christ will be exalted as King throughout the world, Reign in every heart.
He can only rule because we completely abandon ourselves;
and we can only enter the reality of self-renunciation through inner life,
see our own arbitrariness, and guide us to return everything
we occupy to God. In this way, Jesus Christ gained complete sovereignty,
His will that pleased Him was fulfilled,
and He gained complete obedience in a heart that was emptied of all obstacles.
This is God’s plan for the church in the last days.
