I am what you need

I am the light, the light of life.

 I want to illuminate your life.

 I am water, a spring of living water, to nourish your heart

Dark place, desert land, I am what you desire

The poor and the thirsty can come to me

I'm what you need to attract you to me

John 8:12

 And Jesus said to them all, I am the light of the world. He who follows me will never walk in darkness, You must have the light of life.

Revelation 21:6

And he said to me, It is all done. I am Alpha, I am Omega, I am the beginning and I am the end. I will give the water of the fountain of life freely to him who is thirsty to drink.

John 4:14

 Whoever drinks the water that I give him will never be thirsty. The water I give you will become a spring of water in him, Welling up to eternal life.
